Molly Anderson: The Corporate Lattice - Blog Business Success Radio

Listen to Wayne Hurlbert on Blog Talk Radio

Talent strategist, learning and development expert, Director of Talent for Deloitte Services LP, and co-author of the revolutionary and organizational changing book The Corporate Lattice: Achieving High Performance in the Changing World of Work, Molly Anderson, describes how the old corporate ladder metaphor is dead. In its place is the new model of a corporate lattice where work is virtual, dispersed, less structured and more collaborative. The workplace is very often global and operating around the clock. Organizational structures are flatter and companies are more transparent. As a result, performance and productivity are more dependent on a highly educated, and much more diverse workforce than ever before. Instead of the top down, prevailing corporate ladder model, Molly Anderson describes the new model of the corporate lattice where careers are built differently, where the way work gets done is radically altered, and where participation is fostered in teams, relationships, and collaboration.
